Users on the Avast forum reported that Avast was disconnecting or blocking the League of Legends game. The game displayed a notice stating “ incompatibilities with Avast are causing players to disconnect from games “. The company suggested using other software until the issue gets fixed. Following further investigation, an Avast team member revealed an anti-cheat solution in the League of Legends is detecting Avast anti-exploit as a cheating tool causing it to crash itself. If you’re still affected by the Avast Anti-cheat issue, try the following:
Disable Exploit Detection
- Launch Avast Antivirus.
- Click Menu, then click on Settings.
- Go to protection, click on Core shields
- Uncheck Enable Exploit-detection
- Restart the game to verify the issue

Add League of Legends to the Exception list
- Open Avast
- Click on General.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on Exceptions.
- Click Add Exception, click on Browse, and select the four game files below.

- LeagueClient.exe
- LeagueClientUx.exe
- LeagueClientUxRender.exe
