Users on the Avast forum reported that Avast was disconnecting or blocking the League of Legends game. The game displayed a notice stating “ incompatibilities with Avast are causing players to disconnect from games “. The company suggested using other software until the issue gets fixed. Find the below solution for the Avast Anti-cheat issue with leagues of Legends.
Following further investigation, an Avast team member revealed an anti-cheat solution in the League of Legends is detecting Avast anti-exploit as a cheating tool causing it to crash itself. If you’re still affected by the Avast Anti-cheat issue, try the following:
Disable exploit detection
- Launch Avast Antivirus.
- Click Menu, then click on Settings.
- Go to protection, click on Core shields
- Uncheck Enable Exploit-detection
- Restart the game to verify the issue
Add league of legends to the exception list
- Open Avast
- Click on General.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on Exceptions.
- Click Add Exception, click on browse, and select the four-game files below.
- LeagueofLegends.exe
- LeagueClient.exe
- LeagueClientUx.exe
- LeagueClientUxRender.exe
The above-mentioned solutions should help in solving your problem. If that doesn’t help, uninstalling the antivirus seems to be the only solution.
